Vanderpump Rules fans weren’t able to stay quiet after Scheana Shay adamantly defended Raquel Leviss against the Tom Sandoval cheating allegations, even going as far as to say she would trust Leviss to sleep in the same bed as her husband Brock Davies, in Wednesday night’s (April 26) episode of the hit reality series.
When James Kennedy‘s new girlfriend Ally Lewber told Shay that she saw Leviss and Sandoval dancing at The Abbey in the middle of the night, the longtime VPR star saw nothing wrong with it.
“Would you feel comfortable with Brock going to the club at 1 a.m. with Raquel?” Lewber asked to which Shay replied, “Yeah. Brock is like a big brother as Sandoval is like a big brother to Raquel. I would trust him in the same bed with her.”
Shay went on to tell cameras, “Everyone just wants to find something wrong with Raquel. Everyone wants to think that Raquel is the girl after everyone else’s man. I would dance with Sandoval at The Abbey at 2:30 a.m. I see nothing weird about that. But just because it’s Raquel, it must be something else.”
As we know now, the duo’s months-long affair had already begun at that point — despite Sandoval saying in his confessional that there was absolutely no hanky panky going on with Leviss behind his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix‘s back.
Meanwhile, fans have taken to Twitter to blast Shay’s obliviousness about the situation — while others claimed to now understand why she shoved Leviss when she found out about Scandoval, which resulted in a temporary restraining order filed by the Sur waitress.
“I 100% get why Scheana shoved Raquel, she was defending that bitch to the death,” one wrote, while another added, “Cringe for sure. I bet Scheana is mortified of so many defenses she did of Raquel.”
A third person said, “The one thing you can always count on is Scheana being on the wrong side of shit.”
“Let me be very clear @scheana is the dullest tool in the shed,” someone else wrote. “Literally, I don’t know how she survives in life.”
Regarding Shay’s conversation with Lewber, another pointed out, “Well this didn’t age well.”
One fan chimed in, “Scheana unknowingly helping Sandoval keep track of the rumors of him and Raquel’s affair. I swear to god, she is the dizziest bitch in this group,” while someone else noted, “Scheana looking hella dumb.”
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Shay squashed any rumors that Leviss had also made her way to Davies.
“I absolutely did question [Brock] because after all the Tom and Raquel stuff, which I didn’t think was true, I obviously had to ask,” she told host Andy Cohen. “He said, ‘Absolutely not,’ but, as a follow-up question [I asked], ‘Did she ever try?’”
Shay added, “As much as I trust my husband, I don’t trust that hoe. He said no. He said he never put that energy off and we know Sandoval did.”
