Gruesome photos show firefighters rescuing a bloodied man who was struck by a train while walking on the tracks at a Manhattan subway station early Friday, city officials said.

The unidentified 45-year-old man was seen strolling on the tracks inside the tunnel at the 2nd Avenue and East Houston Station at 4:28 a.m. when an F train leaving the station struck him, police said.

Photos from the scene showed FDNY firefighters carrying the man, wearing a dirt-caked jacket, on a plastic stretcher.

Another image depicted the man being removed from the station by the first responders, who had cut the filthy coat off his body.

The man was conscious and alert when he was loaded into the back of an ambulance and taken to Bellevue Hospital, police told The Post.

The victim suffered lacerations to his face, left hand and left leg.

No criminality was suspected in the incident, according to the NYPD.
