This one isn’t for the faint of heart.
“Final Destination Bloodlines,” the sixth installment in the gruesome supernatural horror franchise, is now available to stream at home after only one month in theaters. In that one month, though, “Final Destination Bloodlines” became the highest-grossing film in the franchise, with over $271 million worldwide.
“Bloodlines” comes 14 years after “Final Destination 5” was released and introduces viewers to Stefani (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), a college student plagued by recurring nightmares of a catastrophic tower collapse in 1968, only to discover these premonitions are inherited from her grandmother. As Stefani unravels her family’s dark past, she realizes that Death is now targeting her entire bloodline and she must find a way to break the cycle before it’s too late.
The new movie is the franchise’s most well-reviewed, with a 92% certified fresh rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
“Final Destination Bloodlines” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! “Final Destination Bloodlines” was released on digital, June 17.
“Final Destination Bloodlines” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent — still significantly less than it may cost for a family to go out to the movies to watch it.
While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “Final Destination Bloodlines,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “Final Destination Bloodlines” whenever you want to.
Video-on-demand rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on a rented title.
While you can stream “Final Destination Bloodlines” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, where there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access. Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play it, you’ll be able to watch the movie you own.
The limited-edition 4K UHD steelbook, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of “Final Destination Bloodlines” will be released on July 22, but you can preorder now on Amazon to receive your copy on release day. A new collection of all six “Final Destination” movies will also be released, July 22 on Blu-ray.
Right now, “Final Destination,” “Final Destination 2,” “Final Destination 3,” “The Final Destination,” and ‘Final Destination 5″ are all streaming on Max.
Max starts at $9.99/month and you can conveniently subscribe right inside of Prime Video!
