A matchup between two teams with records below .500 is the WNBA’s hottest ticket of the year.
On Friday, Aug. 30, Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever will visit Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky for a huge game at the Wintrust Arena.
And, while both teams are on the Eastern Conference playoff bubble, the two stars’ shared history is what makes this high-profile matchup so special.
In case you forgot, Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes and Reese’s LSU Tigers met in the 2023 NCAA Women’s Finals; the Tigers walked away victorious. The following season, the Hawkeyes took down the Tigers in a heated Elite Eight matchup.
This summer, Clark and Reese’s WNBA teams have played each other thrice thus far and the Fever lead the season series 2-1; the Aug. 30 game will be their fourth and final meeting ahead of the playoffs.
If you want to be there, it isn’t too late to grab last-minute tickets.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find was $193 before fees on Vivid Seats.
