PORT ST. LUCIE — In his first camp with the Yankees, Fernando Cruz has undergone plenty of changes with his arsenal.

A wardrobe change has also been part of the plan of attack.

In the heat of the Grapefruit League, the new Yankees reliever has been sweating it out in long sleeves after a suggestion from the team to help guard against pitch-tipping.

“It was a tipping situation the last two years,” Cruz said Monday after throwing in a 6-6 tie with the Mets at Clover Park. “They just wanted me to wear sleeves for me to not think about anything but attacking the hitter.”
