Fans were left wondering whether Eminem attended his daughter Alaina Scott’s wedding after the rapper was nowhere to be seen in the gorgeous photos from her big day.
On Monday, Alaina Scott shared several snaps from her wedding to Matt Moeller last week but her dad was notably absent from the photo dump.
Concerned netizens flocked to the internet to express their suspicions that Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, had skipped out on his 30-year-old kid’s wedding day.
“so eminem missed alaina’s wedding?” one person tweeted, with another asking, “Marshall wasn’t at the wedding?”
“He didn’t attend ????????????,” a fan guessed. “It’s his daughter’s wedding fgs ????????????,” someone commented.
“I’m crying at the fact we, as a fandom, are going back and forth about who was & wasn’t at Alaina’s wedding and if Marshall was or wasn’t in a photo posted when in truth none of us were there ourselves LMFAOOO,” another added.
However, other fans of the “Lose Yourself” artist, 50, pointed out that he could have been there and just wasn’t seen in the pics.
“He absolutely deserves privacy and no there’s not going to be any pictures of him for the public he doesn’t want him being famous steal the light from his daughter on the most special day of her life he wants her wedding day to be about his daughter not him what a great father,” one supporter tweeted.
“people who think tht eminem wasnt at his daughters wedding r stupid asf ????????♀️ ofc he was there we r not gonna get pics though cause hes private like that,” another agreed.
It’s unclear whether or not the “8 Mile” actor actually attended the wedding but reps for Eminem and Scott did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Scott and Moeller tied the knot in Detroit, Mich., last Friday surrounded by 125 of their closest family members and friends.
“June 9, 2023 simply one of the best days of my life,” the bride wrote on Instagram on Monday. “In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours????.”
Photos showed Scott and her new husband kissing as well as Eminem’s other daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, serving as her maid of honor.
Moeller proposed to Scott in December 2021 after more than seven years of dating.
Eminem is a father of three. He and ex-wife Kim Scott welcomed Hailie, 27, in 1995.

He then legally adopted Alaina, whom he lovingly calls Lainey, in the early 2000s after her mother, Kim’s sister, struggled with drug addiction and eventually died of a suspected overdose in 2016.
The Emmy winner also legally adopted Kim’s child Stevie, whom she shared with Eric Hartter, in 2005. Hartter reportedly died in 2019.
Two years later, Stevie, now 21, came out as non-binary.
Meanwhile, wedding bells are ringing for Hailie as well. She got engaged to longtime boyfriend Evan McClintock in February and they celebrated with a ritzy soirée in May.
