Fans believe Taylor Swift all but confirmed Matty Healy is, in fact, “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”
On Thursday, Swift kicked off the European leg of her Eras Tour in Paris, introducing an entirely new portion of the show dedicated to “The Tortured Poets Department,” which dropped last month.
While the Grammy winner sang “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” — which is rumored to be about The 1975 frontman — eagle-eyed Swifties noticed her choreography bared striking similarities to Healy’s own on-stage theatrics.
As Swift belted the bridge, she began to march in place before saluting the crowd — a move Healy often does while performing “Love It If We Made It.”
“Taylor Swift marching during the smallest man who ever lived at the Eras concert in Paris and Matty Healy marching in love it if we made it,” one fan wrote on X alongside a side-by-side of the two shows.
The user also pointed out that the “lighting” and “colors” used in Swift’s performance were eerily similar to The 1975’s set design.

“Am I allowed to be ‘Taylor Swift marching with a marching band to ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’ to directly make fun of Matty Healey’ level of petty or no?” another fan sarcastically asked.
While Swift and Healy were first linked over a decade ago, they never publicly dated until last year — shortly after the “Cruel Summer” singer’s split from Joe Alwyn, 33.
However, the duo was only together for about a month following backlash over the “About You” singer’s many controversies.
The “Karma” hitmaker, 34, seemingly addressed people’s negative opinions about her dating Healy in “But Daddy I Love Him,” which she also performed for the first time Thursday night.

In the hit track, Swift sings about being chastised for being with someone she loves.
Although Swifties have pinpointed a few other songs from “TTPD” they believe are about Healy, the rocker recently told paparazzi that he hadn’t listened to the new album.
“I haven’t really listened to that much of it but I’m sure it’s good,” the English singer-songwriter, 35, said when asked about the “diss” tracks about him.
However, an insider later told Us Weekly that Healy wasn’t happy that his romance with Swift was back in the headlines thanks to the record-breaking album.
“Matty’s uncomfortable with the renewed attention on his relationship [with Taylor] — especially because he’s [with someone] new,” a source told the outlet.
Healy began dating model Gabbriette Bechtel in September 2023 — three months after he and Swift split.
The “Fortnight” singer and Travis Kelce went public with their romance that same month.
