Angela Bassett fans are rallying around the “crushed” actress after her “heartbroken” reaction to Jamie Lee Curtis’ Oscars win.

When the Curtis beat out the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” star in the Best Supporting Actress category on Sunday night for her role in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” Bassett notably did not smile or stand up.

The 64-year-old looked “crushed” in comparison to fellow nominees Kerry Condon and Stephanie Hsu, with many Twitter users calling the reaction “shady” and labeling her a “sore loser.”

However, others came to the “American Horror Story” alum’s defense.

“Angela Bassett is allowed to be visibly disappointed that she didn’t win the Oscar,” one user wrote.

Another added, “I actually appreciate that Angela didn’t put on a face for the sake of being a ‘good sport.'”

Other social media users slammed the Academy for continuing to show Bassett’s face, with one person writing that she should have “got up and walked … out” of the room.

A fourth fan asked haters to look back to Curtis’ face when Bassett won a Golden Globe in January, alleging she looked equally upset.

“I didn’t see y’all talking s–t back then,” the individual wrote.

When Curtis, 64, took the stage to accept the Oscar in her sparkling Dolce and Gabbana gown, she dedicated the trophy to “hundreds of people.”

The “Freak Friday” star explained, “[To] the entire group of artists who made this movie, we just won an Oscar.

“To all the people who have supported the genre movies that I’ve made for these years, the thousands and hundreds of thousands of people, we just won an Oscar together!” she continued.
