Both the Rockets and Spurs can claim their first win of the season tonight when they play in San Antonio in the second game of the season.

FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Spurs as three-point favorites and that seems right. San Antonio hung tough with Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks until the very end in the season opener and showed enough to trust it to win tonight.

All eyes are on Victor Wembanyama after his impressive debut. The French phenom looked the part in his first NBA regular season game by scoring 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting and grabbing five rebounds. The rest of the Spurs played well too as seven players scored in double digits in the opener, led by Devin Vassell with 23 points.

Houston, on the other hand, did not impress in its season-opening loss. The Rockets lost by 30 points to the Orlando Magic and no player scored more than 14 points. Jabari Smith and Jalen Green, who are two of the Rockets promising young players, combined for 17 total points on 5-of-19 shooting. Not a great start to the season.
