The defending national champions begin their March Madness journey this afternoon in Brooklyn when the No. 1 seed UConn Huskies play the No. 16 seed Stetson Hatters in the first round.

UConn is favored by 26.5 points on both FanDuel and DraftKings. That spread seems fair given the Huskies ability to trounce low-major teams and stark overall talent advantage.

UConn looked the part of a top overall seed as it cruised to a 31-3 season that included a Big East regular season crown and the Big East Tournament championship.
