A Taylor Swift fan demonstrated the height of “Antihero”-worship after getting a massive back tattoo depicting the singer’s songs — which had internet critics calling him “creepy” and “tacky as hell.”
Originally posted on Instagram, a snap of the tat-astrophe was recently shared to Facebook with the caption: “I may not like Taylor Swift, but I think this is just too much for a fan of anything. What happens when they run out of space??”
Accompanying pics show the sprawling ink job, which features the Grammy-winning singer name in bold cursive letters at the top of the Swiftie’s back.
Meanwhile, encompassing the rest of the man’s back are tats of five of her album names and the corresponding tracks for each one like a fleshy set list.
Needless to say, the unnamed body art enthusiast’s dedicative ink job was ripped up and down on Facebook with detractors criticizing both the idea and the execution.
“Now that’s an unhealthy obsession..in my opinion kind of creepy,” wrote one critic, whole another called the design “tacky as hell.”
“This just looks so bad,” scoffed a third. “The line work on the fonts and everything is all wonky.”
One viewer seconded, “1989 and numbers listing songs look like they were done with a black Sharpie.”
Some pointed out that the “Shake It Off” singer’s supporter didn’t leave enough space for the pop star’s five other albums.
Even Swift die-hards were appalled by the Tay-too with one writing: “i love taylor and i have 2 tattoos inspired by her but this? it’s a no for me.”
Perhaps he should’ve listened to this impulse ink job survivor, who warned people to think before they ink.
This is not the first time a Swiftie’s Tay Tay-inspired body art has backfired horribly.
A fan who attended the Cincinnati leg of the vocalist’s Eras Tour — which was recently extended through November 24 — was left with a very questionable sunburn after scrawling one of Swift’s lyrics in glitter on her chest.
