Perched above an ocean cliff, a modern Caribbean penthouse is hitting the market for $37 million, Gimme can exclusively reveal.
Part of the Mandarin Oriental Residences, Grand Cayman, the splashy full-floor home comes with five bedrooms, 5½ baths, curves and terraces that blend indoor and outdoor living.
It’s set 125 feet above sea level atop St. James Point, one of the highest elevations in the area, at the southernmost tip of the island — a calm oasis far from the action at Seven Mile Beach.
The development broke ground in February 2025 and is slated to be completed in 2028.

The Cayman Islands has long been known for its role as an offshore financial haven, and was even featured in scenes from the 1993 Tom Cruise film “The Firm.”
But decades later, the destination has garnered a new reputation as the culinary capital of the Caribbean — thanks in part to the Cayman Cookout, hosted by top chef Eric Ripert. Guest star chefs who have attended include Daniel Boulud, Emeril Lagasse, José Andrés and Andrew Zimmern.
The residences are the Mandarin Oriental’s first new build in the Caribbean, developed by Melkonian Capital Management and RAL Companies, and designed by Reda Amalou, co-founder of international architecture and interior design firm AW2.
At a roomy 6,242 square feet, the penthouse features an additional 5,939 square feet of outdoor space with stunning ocean views.
Inside, there’s a large chef’s kitchen, a home theater and a study. The main bedrooms boast en-suite baths with limestone and oversized soaking tubs.
Outside, there’s a summer kitchen, a pergola dining area, an oceanfront terrace, an outdoor shower and a private 750-square-foot infinity pool, a sun shelf and loungers.
It’s all part of a 67-acre site with Mandarin Oriental’s coveted amenities, including a spa, a gym, five restaurants and five pools (one reserved for residents).
The developers note that they are “accepting major cryptocurrencies at their discretion for residences.”
