In the eyes of Ryne Stanek, there were several factors that contributed to the difference — and a jarring one, at that — in his numbers between the regular season and playoffs last season. 

His workload had already reached 46 appearances by the time the Mets acquired him from the Mariners in July. 

His spring training had felt “rushed.” 

He’d dealt with back spasms during the year, too.&nbsp;
