In a good-natured jab, Alvarez let the pitcher, Kodai Senga, know that the wind at Clover Park had prevented the ball from traveling out.
Senga had his own perspective.
“That is a mispitch, so he needs to drive that thing out of here,” Senga later said through an interpreter.
