Got what it takes to be a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue superstar?
Even pros like Camille Kostek — who’s posed for the bikini bible eight times since her debut in 2018, when she won the mag’s first open casting call — get by with a little help from their glam squads.
And makeup artist Kelli Anne Sewell told Page Six Style exactly how she helped Kostek achieve her bronzed glow at the 2025 issue’s launch party last week, which the model attended with boyfriend Rob Gronkowski.

“I love mixing my own concoction — it’s on Camille tonight, it’s on my body,” said Sewell, whose other clients include Internet phenoms Tinx, Alix Earle and Alex Cooper.
She blends Kiehl’s Creme de Corps (“the unscented one; it has a really gorgeous shine” and Saie Glowy Super Gel, which “has a little tint, but it’s not like body makeup where it’s gonna stain clothing.”
Added the glam pro, “It gives you luminosity; you feel like you’re glowing but it’s thin, so in the summer it’s not gonna feel sticky and it dries down super lightly.”

As for Kostek’s rosy cheeks, Sewell said, “The key blush I used was Patrick Ta’s She Goes to the Gym and Rhode Piggy, but there’s literally like 10 blushes on her.”
Dior Rosy Cheeks Blush in Pink Lilac made the cut, too.
“I like to take it right up under her eyes, because it brightens it and kind of like color-corrects with concealer because it adds that blue-toned pink,” Sewell continued. “She loves that really bright under-eye.”
As for Sewell’s tips for locking in a makeup look on an SI Swim set, come surf or (in Kostek’s case in 2025) snow?
“I always say the key to longevity is a bunch of light layers and a lot of good, thin powder with a setting spray. I like layering the them back and forth,” she said, citing One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray as her fave.
When it comes to learning you’ve landed the cover of the iconic glossy, however, Sewell advises embracing emotions and not worrying about a little runny mascara.
“You have to lean into the tears!” she quipped.
