A former UPS worker dressed in uniform killed three adults in front of two children during an armed break-in at a Minnesota home, police said.

Alonzo Pierre Mingo, 37, was charged Monday with three counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth, 20; Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada, 39; and Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, 42.

Mingo allegedly showed up at the Jungwirths’ door on Friday wearing a UPS uniform – his former employer – before forcing himself into the home and holding Shannon and Mario at gunpoint with their two children, ages two and four, nearby.

Coon Rapids Police received the emergency call around 12:30 p.m. Friday that had “sounds of a disturbance,” according to KSTP. No one spoke to dispatchers, but the call “captured a female in the background of a possible domestic situation,” the criminal complaint said, according to Alpha News.

When police arrived, they found three dead from gunshot wounds to the head and two children, who were unharmed, in the home.

Surveillance footage, captured from across the street, showed a blue Nissan Altima parked outside of the home and three suspects exiteing the vehicle, with two wearing UPS uniforms while the other was carrying a cardboard box.

Footage from inside the home shows Mingo leading Mario into a room where Shannon and two children were, according to police description of the video.

He then demanded money while holding them at gunpoint before leading the group out of the room. Mingo would then bring Shannon back into the room, where he shot her at a point-blank range, police said.

Two days before the shooting, officers tracked Mario’s car to a storage facility in Golden Valley, where they found marijuana, meth, and white powder inside the unit. Mario and Shannon had allegedly been sending money back and forth to Mexico. Family Handout

The children found their mother dead. The younger one tried to check on the woman, but the older child pulled them out of the room, according to the statement.

“The older child can be seen entering the bedroom shortly thereafter, crying hysterically,” Coon Rapids police wrote in a probable cause statement.

One of the men was found dead in the doorway, while another was found deceased in the office, officers said.

The entire tragedy lasted seven minutes.

Mingo, who was previously detained by ICE, was arrested hours later by Coon Rapids Police after he was spotted driving the blue car.

He is being held on a $5 million bond.

The other two have not been arrested or charged at this time.

Police found the UPS uniform in a backpack in his car and fingerprints found on the carboard box matched those found in the home.

Mingo was a seasonal employee at the delivery company and had worked there until early January, UPS spokesperson Karen Tomaszewski Hill told the Associated Press.

Mingo faces up to 40 years in prison for his alleged crimes.

The illegal immigrant had previously been detained by ICE at Fort Snelling in March 2019, court documents show.

Police had also been tracking Mario for several months, according to CBS News.
