NextImg:Even while sitting down with MSNBC fangirl, Biden still embarrasses himself

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace did her darnedest to make President Joe Biden look good Thursday, but Joe’s growing cluelessness still won out.

Nobody leaves their seat on camera as a show cuts to a commercial — except our prez, now 80 and showing it daily.

As Wallace thanked him, he abruptly rose, shook her hand, and wandered off stage-right.

“Don’t go away,” the host told . . . viewers?

No wonder this president has set record lows for one-on-one interviews: Even sitting down with a fangirl, he finds a way to embarrass himself.

Poor Nicolle: She tried so hard to make Biden’s sitdown as easy as possible.

Not a single question about First Son Hunter’s plea deal, let alone the growing evidence of massive political interference in the five-year investigation of his nonpayment of taxes on his murky overseas “earnings.”

Instead, she threw softballs: Why hasn’t ex-President Donald Trump been prosecuted yet over the Capitol Riot; what would the late Sen. John McCain think of today’s GOP, etc.

Plus Biden burned much of the time explaining away his offhand comment earlier in the day that the current Supreme Court isn’t “normal” — namely, that it’s made some unpopular rulings (as if that weren’t a regular feature of the high court’s history).

And, for the record, public opinion is firmly behind the high court’s decision against racial discrimination in university admissions.

A few questions Wallace asked Biden were: “Why hasn’t ex-President Donald Trump been prosecuted yet over the Capitol Riot” and “What would the late Sen. John McCain think of today’s GOP?”

Wallace tossed Biden questions like, “Why hasn’t ex-President Donald Trump been prosecuted yet over the Capitol Riot” and “What would the late Sen. John McCain think of today’s GOP?”

The tiny MSNBC audience disagrees, of course: The network’s far-left bent is surely why Biden’s handlers let the prez risk an actual one-on-one.

Yet he still embarrassed himself.

Will the White House ever dare let him off the leash again?
