The actress took to Instagram ahead of the 2024 Oscars to share a clip of herself outside of Ryan Gosling’s dressing room as he prepares to sing his “Barbie” Oscar-nominated hit, “I’m Just Ken,” at the award show.
“Always by my man,” she captioned the clip paired with the actor’s track.
In the video, Mendes, 50, sported a casual fit consisting of a jean jacket paired with a white button-up, jeans and a baseball cap.

The “Hitch” star isn’t afraid to show her support for Gosling, 43, on social media as she recently called out haters critiquing his Oscar nomination.
“So much hate when he took on this role. So many people trying to shame him for doing it,” she wrote on social media in January alongside a screenshot of a past article calling out the “Notebook” star’s performance as Ken in Greta Gerwig’s 2023 film.
She continued, “Despite all the #Notmyken ridicule and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to Oscars [sic].
“So beyond proud to be this Ken’s Barbie ????,” she continued.
In May 2023, the mom of two also showed her love by wearing a T-shirt of the actor dolled up as Ken that read, “‘Barbie 2023’ Ryan Gosling as Ken.”
The couple — who share daughters Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7 — have been together for over a decade.
They tend to keep details of their romance under wraps though Mendes referred to the “La La Land” star as her husband during an appearance on “Today Australia” in November 2022.
