This was not your boar-dinary police chase.

A pig named Albert Einswine escaped from a New Jersey farm and led cops on a wild chase before they were able to “apprehend” the pesky porker.

The slippery hog got loose from a local pig farm in Deptford Township on Tuesday and evaded arrest as long as he could.

Video posted online by the Deptford Township Police Department shows officers trying in vain to lasso Albert.

Each time they get close, the pig squeals and runs away as an officer filming laughs.

“We’re all friends here,” the cop tries to tell the animal, video shows.

“The video doesn’t show the whole thing. We had to chase the pig for a quarter mile. They’re faster than they look,” said Detective Sgt. Bob Jones told WPVI. “He got pretty far for what it was. I don’t know where he was going to go.”

The 4-year-old pig was captured after about 30 minutes, police said.

“Cops chasing a pig is never not funny,” Jones joked to the outlet. “He wasn’t listening. He didn’t listen to our commands at all.

“Everything we learned in the academy went right out the window,” he said. “Once we got a leash on it, he kind of calmed down. The scene became secure.”

Police said eventually the owner came by to retrieve his pig.
