Emmy season has begun.

The 2025 Emmy Award nominations were announced Tuesday via livestream by Brenda Song and Harvey Guillén. They were joined by Television Academy chairman Cris Abrego, who revealed there were “a record turnout” of votes.

To be eligible for nomination at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, the project had to have aired between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025. 

Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the live ceremony at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater on Sept. 14.
