Elijah Blue Allman files to dismiss divorce from estranged wife after Cher files for conservatorship

Cher’s son has filed to dismiss his divorce from estranged wife Marieangela King.
Elijah Blue Allman requested the dismissal on Tuesday, about a week after his mother filed for a conservatorship in light of his substance abuse issues.
Allman noted in the documents, obtained by Page Six, that the divorce should be dismissed “without prejudice,” meaning the case can be re-filed in the future if either party chooses.
He also asked the “entire action of all parties and all causes of actions” be dismissed but noted that “sums due pursuant to the temporary support stipulation remain due and owing.”
Reps for the couple didn’t immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
Allman, 47, first filed for divorce from the musician in November 2021 after about eight years of marriage.
In light of Cher’s request for a conservatorship, King blasted the “Believe” singer for the actions she’s allegedly taken out of care for her son, whom she shares with the late singer Gregg Allman.
“I have always been a champion for the sober community and for Elijah’s sobriety. … What I am not OK with are establishments that exclude me (his wife) from being part of Elijah’s treatment and hopeful recovery,” King told Page Six in a statement this week.

“I am not ok with pop-up, makeshift, unethical scam rehabs which take full advantage of families in desperate situations and seek to fraudulently exploit insurance companies for services not rendered.”
King, whose stage name is Queeny King, also claimed Cher, 77, “kidnapped” Elijah and had him placed in a “locked cage” in Mexico during one of his addiction throes.
The “Hush Little Baby” singer also denied ever “enabling” Elijah’s substance abuse and maintained that she has never “suffered from any form of substance abuse, mental health or addiction issues.”
A rep for King also told us that the “She Wants to Kill Me” singer hoped to settle her husband’s substance abuse issues privately before Cher decided to file to be sole conservator.
The singer also finds the conservatorship “deeply disturbing.”
Cher stated in her request to be her son’s conservator that his drug addiction prevents him from managing his finances appropriately, and that “any funds distributed to Elijah will immediately be spent on drugs, leaving Elijah with no assets to provide for himself, and putting Elijah’s life at risk.”
