NextImg:East Harlem man, 62, accused of stabbing 17-year-old NYC boy to death: cops

An East Harlem man was slapped with second-degree murder and assault charges for allegedly fatally stabbing a teen boy during a heated dispute in Manhattan, according to police. 

The violence started just after 6 p.m. near East 108th St. and Second Ave., where cops say two men and a teenager were arguing about an unknown subject when the dispute turned physical.

​​Saul Sanchez, 62, of East Harlem, faces second-degree murder and other charges for his involvement in the fatal stabbing. Citizen

Saul Sanchez, 62, allegedly fatally stabbed Carlos Rivas in the chest and lower abdomen, authorities said. Rivas, 17, later succumbed to his injuries at Harlem Hospital.

The third man, 22, was stabbed in the left arm and Sanchez, 62, sustained a cut on his forehead. Both men were taken to local hospitals in stable condition. 

Sanchez, who also faces a weapon possession charge, was arrested Saturday.
