NextImg:Drew Lock seems to troll Jalen Hurts over apparent handshake snub

Drew Lock appeared to have a biting one-liner after the Seahawks upset the Eagles on Monday night.

Eagle-eyed social media sleuths observed Lock, Seattle’s starting quarterback who led a 92-yard touchdown drive to give his team a 20-17 lead in the final minute of the game, appearing to search for Hurts before quipping, “I guess he’s sick.”

Hurts flew to Seattle on a different plane than the rest of his teammates, and his status was in question to play due to an illness until just before the game.

Whatever Hurts’ intention when it came to the Lock snub, he was not in the highest spirits after the game, questioning the commitment of his teammates.

“I’ve been talking about execution all year,” Hurts told reporters. “Everyone being on the same page. We didn’t execute. I don’t think we’re committed enough. Just got to turn it around. You know, it’s a challenge that we have to embrace. Just continue to see it through.”

Hurts’ frustration further showed when asked to expand on his answer.

“Commitment. I don’t have a dictionary on me now … I don’t know how else to say that,” he said.

After starting the season 10-1, the Eagles have lost three in a row.

On the flip-side, the Seahawks were buzzing after the game brought them back to .500, at 7-7, after a four-game skid.

“Amazing won’t do it justice. Amazing won’t do it justice,” Lock told reporters, praising a number of his teammates, as covered by the Seattle Times.

“It takes a special group to rally around a guy that has come into his second game of the year. … You wonder, ‘Can I do this still?’ I haven’t been out there on the field, that’s the human nature of it. You get back out there last week and I’m like, ‘You know what, I’m the man still, I can go do this.’ “
