Drew Barrymore‘s alleged stalker, Chad Michael Busto, is continuing to dredge up trouble after a warrant for his arrest was issued by the Southampton Town Clerk’s Office earlier today — only two weeks after he allegedly crashed her 92nd Street Y event and was cuffed for stalking the famed Drew Barrymore Show host in her lofty Hamptons neighborhood.

According to NBC News, a judge issued a bench warrant for Busto, 43, after he failed to show up for his GPS ankle monitor fitting on Tuesday (Sept. 5). The Clerk’s Office further told the outlet that his current whereabouts remain unknown.

On Aug. 23, he was “temporarily detained” for allegedly going door-to-door in the neighborhood in search of the star. After a follow-up investigation, he was ultimately arrested and charged the next day with a misdemeanor for stalking in the fourth degree, per NBC News.

“It was reported at the time that Busto was riding a bicycle up into private driveways and stating to area residents that he was looking for Drew Barrymore’s residence,” police told the outlet. “He was suspected of stalking Ms. Barrymore due to previous incidents involving the actor.”

While he was freed following his arraignment the next morning, a prosecution attorney told The Daily Mail at the time that he has a “lengthy criminal history.” Moreover, a report by The Daily Beast previously revealed that a man by the name of Chad Michael Busto had allegedly been arrested and charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes in 2012, arrested for indecent exposure in the ocean in 2017, and pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery after launching into a tirade against a Trader Joe’s employee who asked him to wear a mask in 2020.

Busto — who allegedly also has an obsession with Amber Heard — first came into the public eye after he reportedly rushed Barrymore and The Sex Lives of College Girls star Reneé Rapp at the former’s 92nd Street Y event.

“You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while you’re in New York,” Busto called out to the actress, who was promptly escorted off the stage until security took Busto away.

Busto currently has a court date scheduled for Sept. 12.
