You never know what you’re going to get on The Drew Barrymore Show. Sometimes it’s an emotional heart-to-heart about childhood trauma, while other times it’s Drew Barrymore‘s horny dog getting a little too frisky on the stage. Either way, it’s always a great time.
On this morning’s episode of the hit daytime talk show, Barrymore and co-host Ross Mathews had a little fun with wigs and yoga poses during the daily Drew’s News segment. The first headline? A woman, whose pink hair was banned from her job, decided to wear “terrible” wigs instead of dying her hair back to its natural color.
The silly topic prompted both Barrymore and Mathews to bust out their own odd-ball wigs. While the actress compared her mullet to singer Cherie Currie from The Runaways, she thought Mathews’ brunette bowl cut resembled Paul McCartney or Davy Jones.
“Mine is giving me my Aunt Helen. If I had a couple clip-on earrings,” Mathews quipped, before telling Barrymore, “We definitely need to take you to a casino.”
The hijinks only continued as Barrymore opted to leave her wig on while reading the next headline. According to a PopSugar article, the “legs up the wall” yoga pose can reduce stress, help muscle fatigue, increase flexibility and help you fall asleep.

The 50 First Dates star, who is a self-proclaimed “yoga freak,” then decided to give the audience an impromptu demonstration.
“Go until your butt is against the wall. Is your butt up against the wall?” she asked Mathews as they settled into their positions in front of the Drew’s News desk, to which he replied, “Yes. I never thought I’d hear you ask me that, but yes.”
The duo sat in the position for the rest of the opening segment, with Barrymore claiming she feels it in her “lungs” and Mathews joking about his lack of limberness.
“Get in touch with all the good stuff. Take a minute,” Barrymore instructed. “Especially if you’re about to flip out, this is a great alternative.”
