Drew Barrymore‘s kids are learning more and more about their mom, all thanks to the shocking confessions she drops on her eponymous daytime talk show.
While chatting with comedian Hasan Minhaj on this morning’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the beloved host revealed how her daughters — Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10 — react to revelations about her past.
“Sometimes my kids now will be like, ‘Oh, so we heard your clip on the internet and so apparently you kissed somebody or you did this when you were young,'” Barrymore said, noting that she often responds with a cringing gasp.
However, Barrymore added, “They know everything about me. I kind of knew that was coming at some point.”
Although the actress’ openness with her kids is admirable, it can sometimes bite her in the butt. During a February episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Barrymore revealed how her daughter once weaponized her Playboy cover photo when she was told she couldn’t wear a crop top.
“My daughter wants to wear a crop top,” Barrymore explained during the episode. “I’ll say no and she’ll go, ‘You were on the cover of Playboy.'”
The star previously told Pamela Anderson that she wasn’t thinking about her future children when she decided to pose for the magazine in 1995.

“When I was doing Playboy and loving it and having so much fun and don’t regret a thing and love it, I didn’t know I’d have kids later,” she said, noting that she was “taking [her] power back” and “being a wild child and being free and discovering [herself] and growing up.”
Despite how open Barrymore is with her kids, there are some things they still manage to learn on the internet.
“My kids — all the time. They’re like, ‘Oh, really? Oh, you don’t want me to do that? That’s interesting because I found out that you did that,'” she said on an April episode of her talk show. “And I’m like, ‘Oh, that internet! It foiled me again!'”
