It’s Halloween — so obviously Drew Barrymore had some tricks and treats up her sleeve on this morning’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. What we weren’t expecting, however, was for the host to open up about her recent “pregnancy type of craving.”

To celebrate the spooky holiday, Barrymore dressed up as Bob Ross — chest hair and all — while Ross Mathews sported a sparkly Dolly Parton costume and Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond dressed as Barrymore in her signature neutral-toned pantsuit.

The trio took over the studio’s kitchen, where Drummond taught the culinarily-challenged co-hosts how to make chili. At one point in the lengthy segment, Barrymore, who already has two daughters, nearly had everyone thinking she was expecting a third child.

“The other day I came into work and I said, ‘I don’t know why but I’m having a pregnancy type of craving,'” she said, before clarifying, “I’m not pregnant.”

Drummond joked that the conversation “escalated quickly” since Barrymore “buried the lead,” while Mathews added, “Now that’s breaking news.”

But according to Barrymore, all she wanted was a biscuit, prompting Drummond to whip out her own version of the tasty treat. However, the actress’ Bob Ross facial hair made it difficult for her to do anything but gently lick the biscuit, before shoving it into the small part of her mouth she could actually open.

In classic Drew Barrymore Show cooking segment fashion, the chaos didn’t stop there.

While cooking up a pot of chili, Mathews accidentally dropped a long, red stick-on nail into the bowl of beans. It may sound like a rookie mistake for someone who judges RuPaul’s Drag Race, but Mathews revealed earlier in the episode that this was his first time dressing in drag!

“It’s so hard to do this with nails, you guys, I can’t even begin to tell you,” he said, before later adding, “I have to say, I think we’re nailing this chili.”

The Drew Barrymore Show airs on weekdays on CBS. You can check the website for local airtimes.
