Drew Barrymore is learning from Mindy Kaling’s mistake.

The talk show host referred to Meghan Markle by her Sussex surname in a preview of Thursday’s installment of her eponymous talk show.

“This is the Fast Five with Meghan Sussex,” Barrymore, 50, said at the start of a segment.

The introduction came one day after the Duchess of Sussex made headlines for correcting Kaling on her “With Love, Meghan” Netflix show when the “Office” star referred to her as “Meghan Markle.”

The “Suits” alum, 43, laughed while pointing out how “funny” it was that Kaling, 45, repeatedly called her that.

She said, “You know I’m Sussex now.”

Markle went on to explain how “meaningful” it felt to share a surname with her children — Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

Page Six reported in February that the little ones last names had been changed to Sussex.

“You have kids and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children,'” Markle said in the second episode of the series. “It just means so much to go, ‘This is our family name, our little family name.'”

Kaling replied, “Now I know. And I love it.”

In a cover story published Monday, Markle similarly opened up to People about why it “meant a lot” to have the last name in common with her kids.

“It’s our shared name as a family. I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together,” she gushed, referring to husband Prince Harry by her nickname for him.

Elsewhere in her “Drew Barrymore Show” interview, Markle told viewers why she feels “very lucky” to be married to the Duke of Sussex, who has promised to “always date” her.

“We have this connection, I think, because we’re so committed to treating each other the same way you did before you had a ring on it, before it was locked down — when you’re just courting each other and you can see all the good and joy in that butterfly period,” she explained.

“That’s, I think, what keeps things really alive,” the former actress concluded.
