The queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race are once again ready to show off something private, personal, and rarely seen: their closets. The Emmy-nominated web series Out of the Closet is back for Season 7, and Decider has your exclusive first look at this stellar set of episodes. Out of the Closet Season 7 premieres on Wednesday, October 18 with a trip inside Luxx Noir London’s own boudoir.
In case you’re unfamiliar with Out of the Closet’s whole M.O., here’s what you need to know. Behind every Drag Race megastar is a closet — or sometimes a whole room — devoted to storing everything that their dreams and fantasies are made of… like wigs, gowns, corsets, and just drawers full of jewelry. Out of the Closet takes you inside the queen’s own quarters and shows you how they hone their craft, protect their eleganza, and create the perfect space for creativity to thrive within. You get all that and the queen’s reflection on their own Drag Race journey thus far. Sickening, no?
Out of the Closet Season 7 will highlight a roster of recent faves from seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, including Luxx Noir London (season 15), Daya Betty (season 14), Utica Queen (season 13), Alyssa Hunter (season 14), Mrs. Kasha Davis (season 7, All Stars 8), and Darienne Lake (season 6, All Stars 8). You can catch a glimpse of each queen’s home tour in the teaser above. If you’ve spent years wondering what happened to Utica’s exquisitely crafted sleeping bag look from Season 14’s Bag Ball, wonder no more!
You can watch new episodes of #OutOfTheCloset every Wednesday at 12pm ET on the RuPaul’s Drag Race YouTube channel. Follow @rupaulsdragrace on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok for exclusive Out of the Closet content and episodes.
