Six different rotation regulars have missed time in January with injuries for the Knicks, making one of the best months in team history that much more impressive.
Lineup linchpins Julius Randle and OG Anunoby both sat out their second consecutive game, but the sizzling Knicks closed out a 14-2 month Tuesday night by rolling to their eighth straight win, 118-103 over the Jazz at the Garden.
Donte DiVincenzo shot a blistering 9-for-15 from 3-point range and scored 33 points, while should-be All-Star Jalen Brunson contributed 29 with nine assists — and heard more rounds of MVP chants — as the Knicks reached as many as 14 victories in one flip of the calendar for the first time since a perfect 14-0 month in March 1994, the season Pat Riley’s squad lost in the NBA Finals.
The glory-days Knicks won a record 15 games (15-3) in December 1968, before they went 14-1 in November 1969.

Precious Achiuwa (18 points) and Josh Hart (a triple-double with 10, 10 and 10 in 43 minutes) thrived again while starting for the second straight game in place of Randle (dislocated shoulder) and Anunoby (sore elbow).
