Even when Taylor Swift can’t be at the Kansas City Chiefs game in person, Donna Kelce is making sure she’s on the sidelines in spirit.
The NFL mom, 72, showed her support for her future daughter-in-law at son Travis Kelce’s football game Monday night, sporting a playful white baseball cap covered in doodles referencing Swiftie iconography.
The front of the hat featured an illustration of the pop star in her “1989” era wearing her then-signature Wayfarer shades, while other doodles called out song titles (“Shake It Off”), albums (a “Lover” cassette tape), and Eras Tour outfits.
Kelce further accessorized her Chiefs jersey with a pair of red-and-gold arrowhead earrings and a “Karma Is the Guy on the Chiefs” pin, a nod to Swift’s lyrical changeup in tribute to Travis.
The devoted mom is a regular presence at Chiefs games alongside Swift; the two are often seen coordinating their game-day looks and bonding in the stands.
Kelce is also set to appear on the forthcoming season of “The Traitors.”
The pop star, 35, was not in attendance at the most recent game between the Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars in Florida. The “Fortnight” singer has been busy promoting her recently released twelfth studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Monday night.
Earlier this week, to celebrate Travis’s 36th birthday, Donna reshared an Instagram tribute from the @kelcebrothers fan page featuring numerous photos of the NFL tight end over the years. She was intentional about her choice of audio, adding the song “Opalite” from Swift’s new album.

The singer confirmed it’s her fiancé’s favorite track, which is no surprise given its personal associations.
“Opal can be man-made just like diamonds, and so, Travis’ birthstone is an opal,” she told Capital FM radio on Friday. “I’ve always fixated on that, [and] I’ve always loved that stone. I thought it was kind of a cool metaphor that, like, it’s a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made, too. That’s what the song is about, the juxtaposition of those two.”
Swift Travis went public with their romance in September 2023 and announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Aug. 26 of this year, with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
