Before he took the White House in 2016, President Trump was the celebrity host of NBC’s hit entrepreneurial reality series The Apprentice. And now, fans will be able to stream the series for the very first time.
The series, which ran for 15 seasons from 2004 to 2017, challenged contestants to the “ultimate job interview” by testing their intelligence and street smarts in the hopes of landing their dream job at The Trump Organization with a salary of $250,000. Trump served as host and co-producer of the series until 2015 when he pivoted to focus on running for office and NBC ultimately severed ties with him due to comments he made about Mexican immigrants during his first presidential campaign.
Now, fans will get to watch the series that helped Trump cement his public persona long before he had his sights set on the White House.
“I look forward to watching this show myself — such great memories, and so much fun, but most importantly, it was a learning experience for all of us!” President Trump said in a press release.
The Apprentice will soon be streaming on Prime Video, where it will be joining First Lady Melania Trump‘s upcoming documentary that will offer a “behind-the-scenes” look at her life. The documentary — set to be directed by Rush Hour director Brett Ratner — came with a hefty price tag for Jeff Bezos and Amazon: Puck News reports the streamer paid $40 million to license the film as well as an unannounced documentary series.

For now, it looks like only the first seven seasons of The Apprentice will be available to stream on Prime Video in the coming weeks.
Prime Video announced all episodes of The Apprentice Season 1 will begin streaming today (March 10). All episodes of Seasons 2 through 7 will then drop on Prime Video every Monday through April 21.
This marks the very first time the series will be available to stream, over 20 years after it first premiered on NBC in 2004.
It remains unclear when The Apprentice Seasons 8 through 15 will be available to stream.
