NextImg:Does ‘Yellowstone’ Return Tonight? Season 5, Part 2 Release Date/Streaming Info

Where to Stream:

Yellowstone

As we turn the page from July to August, streamers are gifted with a slew of new TV shows and movies. The second season of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty premieres August 6 on HBO, The Super Mario Bros. Movie recently debuted on Peacock, and Netflix has a plethora of new titles, including the second season of Heartstopper and Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child. But the $64,000 question persists: What about Yellowstone?

Last month, CBS announced that they’ll air reruns of the immensely popular Western drama this fall on Sunday nights, beginning with Season 1. These repeats will most likely be edited since Yellowstone has its fair share of adult content. Due to a variety of factors — most notably the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding Taylor Sheridan and Kevin Costner and the writers’/actors’ strikes — Yellowstone’s future remains a mystery. But here’s everything we know about a potential return date.

Nope. We do, however, have a bit of good news: Paramount Network is airing the ninth episode of the Yellowstone prequel 1883 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

You can also watch new episodes of Taylor Sheridan’s newest series, Special Ops: Lioness, on Paramount+.

Your easiest option? Peacock! All five seasons of the series are available to stream on Peacock Premium. You can also watch select Season 5 episodes on-demand via the Paramount Network website, fuboTVSling TV (the $6/month “Comedy Extra” add-on), Hulu + Live TVYouTube TVPhilo, or DIRECTV STREAM.

Finally, individual episodes and complete seasons of Yellowstone are available to purchase on Amazon.

Nope. The series isn’t streaming on either platform.

The answer to that question remains a mystery. In January, it was announced that the final six episodes of this iteration of the series were set to debut this summer. That obviously didn’t happen. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date.

Due to the writers’ strike and ongoing behind-the-scenes turmoil, November always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.” That date appears even less likely when you factor in the SAG-AFTRA strike.

The situation remains in flux, but, unfortunately, we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone to air on Paramount Network anytime soon.
