NextImg:Does ‘Yellowstone’ Return Tonight? Season 5, Part 2 Release Date, How To Stream Online

Where to Stream:

Yellowstone

Powered by Reelgood

There’s a lot, and we mean a lot, of new content to stream this weekend. There are new episodes of Minx and Heels on Starz, new offerings of Billions and The Chi on Showtime and Paramount+ with Showtime, and new installments of How To with John Wilson, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (Sunday, August 27 at 9:00 p.m.), and Telemarketers (Sunday, August 27 at 10:00 p.m.) on HBO.

One show that won’t be airing a new episode, unfortunately, is Yellowstone. Taylor Sheridan’s beloved fan favorite has been on hiatus since January, with Season 5, Episode 8 (“A Knife and No Coin”) airing on New Year’s Day. When exactly does Yellowstone return? Here’s everything we know.

Nope. Yellowstone isn’t on tonight, and unfortunately, the beloved Western won’t be back anytime soon. You can, however, watch new episodes of Taylor Sheridan’s new series, Special Ops: Lioness, on Paramount+.

All five seasons of Yellowstone are available on Peacock Premium. You can also watch select Season 5 episodes on-demand via the Paramount Network website, fuboTVSling TV (the $6/month “Comedy Extra” add-on), Hulu + Live TVYouTube TVPhilo, or DIRECTV STREAM.

Finally, individual episodes and complete seasons of Yellowstone are available to purchase on Amazon.

It should be, right? In what turned out to be a very savvy move, Peacock got the streaming rights in 2020, which is why the series isn’t currently available on Paramount+.

That’s the million dollar question. In January, it was announced that the final six episodes of this iteration of the series would debut in the summer of 2023. That’s clearly not happening. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date.

Due to the writers’ strike and ongoing behind-the-scenes turmoil, November always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.” And that was before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Production on the final episodes of the series hasn’t even started. The situation remains in flux, but, unfortunately, we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone to air on Paramount Network anytime soon.
