NextImg:Does ‘Yellowstone’ Return Tonight? Here’s The Latest On The Season 5, Part 2 Release Date

Where to Stream:

Yellowstone

Powered by Reelgood

It’s been a minute since the last new episode of Yellowstone aired on Paramount Network. A lot of minutes, actually. The first half of the final season concluded on January 1 when Season 5, Episode 8 (“A Knife and No Coin”) premiered. The series was initially supposed to return this summer but… yeah… that didn’t happen.

If you’re in need of a recap, the official Yellowstone YouTube has two helpful videos. The first is a 49 minute refresher that covers Seasons 1-4, and the second is a simple 20-minute series recap. But that’s the past; let’s look to the future, shall we?

When does Yellowstone return? Here’s everything we know.

Nope. Yellowstone isn’t on tonight, and the series won’t be back anytime soon. You can, however, watch new episodes of Taylor Sheridan’s latest series, Special Ops: Lioness, on Paramount+.

That’s the million dollar question. In January, it was announced that the final six episodes of this iteration of the series would debut in the summer of 2023. That’s clearly not happening. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date.

Due to the writers’ strike and ongoing behind-the-scenes turmoil, November always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.” And that was before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Production on the final episodes of the series hasn’t even started. The situation remains in flux, but, unfortunately, we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone to air on Paramount Network anytime soon.

All five seasons of Yellowstone are available to stream on Peacock Premium. You can also watch select Season 5 episodes on-demand via the Paramount Network website, fuboTVSling TV (the $6/month “Comedy Extra” add-on), Hulu + Live TVYouTube TVPhilo, or DIRECTV STREAM.

Finally, individual episodes and complete seasons of Yellowstone are available to purchase on Amazon.

It should be, right? In what turned out to be a very savvy move, Peacock got the streaming rights in 2020, which is why the series isn’t currently available on Paramount+.
