Disney+ is gearing up for a Blockbuster Fall full of exciting releases and to celebrate, they’re offering a limited-time offer that’s too good to pass up — especially with a price increase looming.
Beginning today, new and eligible returning Disney+ subscribers can sign up for Disney+ Basic (with ads) for just $1.99/month for your first three months.
With Disney+ set to increase prices for the second October in a row on October 17, locking in this deal price now will save you a few bucks in the long run — $18 over three months, to be exact — before your subscription renews at the new regular monthly price of $9.99/month.
The promotion is running through September 27, just in time for the September 18 premiere of Agatha All Along, the highly anticipated WandaVision spin-off from Marvel Television.
Disney+ also has some exciting shows and movies in the pipeline, like Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premiering on October 30, a new season of Dancing with the Stars (airing live concurrently on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays beginning September 17), the documentary Music By John Williams streaming on November 1, and a new Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew premiering December 3.
Subscribers will also be able to watch the long-awaited Disney+ premiere of Pixar’s Inside Out 2, which still has not set a release date, and Pixar’s first-ever TV show, Win or Lose, streaming December 6.
On the Disney+ homepage, you’re going to see a bunch of different subscription plans, including bundles with other services. When you go to choose your plan, you’ll have to select Disney+ Basic, as it’s the only one that’s part of the special offer.
From there, make an account or log into your existing account — returning subscribers are eligible as long as they don’t have an active subscription — and enter your payment details.
Subscribers will also get to take advantage of new perks beginning today as well; they include 15% off of Disney-inspired products at Funko, 15% off of Disney-inspired merchandise at Loungefly, an exclusive in-game cosmetic for the main character’s companion, Nix, in the all-new Star Wars Outlaws game, and early access to Agatha All Along merchandise at DisneyStore.com (beginning September 18).
