A dirt-bike rider rammed into an NYPD cop who tried to boot him and two other cyclists out of Central Park last week, police said.
The officer was riding a marked police scooter and attempting to escort the three riders out of the West Drive and West 90th Street area just after 4 p.m. Friday, police said.
That’s when one of the motorists turned aggressive and struck the cop with his bike, police said.
The officer was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.
The NYPD released photos late Monday of all three suspects – one on a red bike, another on a white two-wheeler and the third seen pedaling a dark-colored one, police said.
All three were wearing helmets at the time. They were described as having medium complexions and medium builds.
They had not been caught by Tuesday.
The assault came a day after an attack on another member of the NYPD in Harlem.
A 43-year-old traffic enforcement agent was driving a marked NYPD cruiser at St. Nicholas Avenue and West 118th Street in Manhattan around 6:50 a.m. Thursday when a gray four-door sedan with four people inside pulled up next to him, according to cops and online footage.
Someone inside the sedan then unleashed a fire extinguisher in the agent’s face, cops said.
The NYPD has identified Escarlin Polanco Gonzalez, 19, as a member of that crew, but no arrests have been made.
