We have some sad news for fans of The View. Unfortunately, new episodes of the hit daytime show will not be airing on ABC this week. Luckily, we have you covered on everything you need to know about when The View will return — and whether it’s been canceled.
The last time we saw Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Ana Navarro, and Sunny Hostin was on Friday (June 27) when they sat down with actor Anthony Ramos to discuss his new show Ironheart. Whoopi Goldberg, unfortunately, missed out on the conversation since she spent all of last week in Italy accepting an award for her memoir Bits and Pieces: My Mother, My Brother, and Me.
So, why wasn’t The View on today? Did the show actually get canceled? Keep reading for everything we know.
No, The View did not get canceled. The network is not airing new episodes this week due to a scheduled hiatus, likely for the 4th of July.
New episodes of The View will return on Monday, July 7.
The View might be on hiatus this week, but the season is not over yet. We still have about another month left in Season 28 before the ladies take their annual summer hiatus in between seasons. Usually, this starts sometime around the first week in August and ends after Labor Day weekend.

While The View isn’t going to air new episodes for the rest of this week, ABC will be playing reruns, meaning you can catch up on anything you might’ve missed!
