It’s not every day a condo listing shows off five prestigious acting awards in its photos. But after one Williamsburg residence staged with two Emmys, two SAG awards and a Golden Globe circulated on social media, people were chomping at the bit to find out who lives there. Fortunately, it looks like a new report from Curbed has narrowed it down.
According to the outlet, the luxurious three-bedroom condo in Brooklyn, NY is currently on the market for $1.899 million. Aside from the eye-catching trophies that can’t be missed in the photos, the white-walled residence is modestly decorated with pops of color in its furniture.
One X (formerly known as Twitter) user was quick to spot the awards. They wrote, “Can’t stop thinking about this person selling their condo in South Williamsburg with two Emmys, two SAGS, and one Golden Globe on display. WHO ARE THEY!”
Thanks to Curbed, it appears as though the condo belongs to Jeremy Strong, who is best known for his role as Kendall Roy in HBO’s Succession. Why, you ask? Well, let’s break it down.
Strong won the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Drama Series back in 2020 for Succession — and likely received his own trophy for the show’s recent win for Outstanding Drama Series. He also scored a SAG Award for Outstanding Performer in a Drama Series as well as a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama in 2022.
The star is also married to a psychiatrist from Denmark named Emma Wall, with whom he shares three daughters named Agathe, Ingrid and Clara. In one of the photos from the listing, a nursery with three cribs visibly shows the name “Agathe” on one of the toys, while the letters “I N G” can be spotted beneath one of the shelves.
Not to mention, Strong filmed a 2020 video interview with Rolling Stone in front of a white-washed brick wall like the one in the nursery — just one year before his youngest child was born.
“If you were to turn the camera in the other direction, you would see two cribs and a white noise machine,” he said at the start of the interview.
So there we have it! It looks like children of successful actors aren’t safe from sharing rooms either.
Decider has reached out to reps for Strong for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
