Dez Bryant offered Will Levis an interesting piece of advice following the Titans’ stunning comeback win over the Dolphins on “Monday Night Football.”
In a message shared Tuesday on X, Bryant — who spent much of his NFL career as a wide receiver for the Cowboys and earned three Pro Bowl nods — suggested Tennessee’s rookie quarterback keep the focus on his rising star as opposed to a former flame.
“I’m sitting here looking at the recap Dolphins vs Titans. Then I randomly thought about Will Levis Draft day! If you are thinking don’t take your ex girlfriend back bro,” Bryant seemingly wrote of Gia Duddy, who dated Levis, 24, for years before their apparent split was reported in September.
“She got endorsements sitting next to you on draft night I remember. She wasted no time making herself the priority after going viral. You got a chance to be a franchise QB make it a priority! Great win champ!”
Levis, who infamously slid out of the first round during the 2023 NFL Draft in April, helped Tennessee rally past Miami for a 28-27 win.
“It’s awesome,” said Levis, who orchestrated two touchdown drives late in the fourth quarter.
“I’m pumped. We are going to have a fun (plane) ride home.”
Before becoming the Titans’ starter in October, Levis was looking to prove his critics wrong following a memorable draft night, in which Duddy — a Penn State grad and influencer — sat by his side as the agonizing wait continued.
Levis, who was eventually selected by the Titans in the second round at 33rd overall, revealed over the summer how Duddy’s viral appearance at the NFL draft led to brand deals.
“She just signed a Burger King deal,” Levis said on Barstool Sports’ “The Mid Show” podcast in July.
“It’s crazy, I was like, ‘You’re paying for lunch.'”
Weeks after Levis’ podcast appearance, breakup buzz circulated around the start of the NFL season.
In October, however, the sports entertainment site TMSPN reported that Levis and Duddy “are indeed back on good terms.”
Through seven games, Levis has thrown eight touchdowns against three interceptions.
The Titans (5-8) host the Texans (7-6) on Sunday afternoon.
