NextImg:Dems’ delusional pro-Iran stance: Letters to the Editor — June 25, 2025

The Issue: Democratic politicians’ disapproval of President Trump’s strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.

The radical left is becoming unhinged over our success in the Mid-East (“Dems’ Impeach Cries Bare Their Hypocrisy,” Betsy McCaughey, June 24).

It is not a war, and President Trump didn’t exceed his authority.

Democrats continue to be on the wrong side of every issue and against all things Trump, no matter how much it destroys their credibility and support from the American people.

The people who said that Jan. 6 was an insurrection and that we are on the brink of starting a war by taking out Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon have been perfectly silent about the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

Trump is doing what we elected him to do, and no amount of calling him a king or using threats of impeachment are going to thwart his success.

Charles Michael Sitero

Ormond Beach, Fla.

The biggest threat to our country are the Democratic members of Congress who criticize everything the president does.

They speak against America and our president every minute of every day.

It’s ridiculous to believe it’s a good idea for Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Robert Rosenberg

Manhattan

The usual suspects are at it again: Democrats are whining that Trump shouldn’t have bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the empty pantsuits on “The View” are all saying our president was wrong.

Israel is fighting for its very existence, yet Democrats side with the enemy. Brute force is the only message that Iran will understand.

God bless Trump, our military and Israel.

Walter Goldeski

East Brunswick, NJ

After US stealth bombers flattened Iran’s nuclear sites, Democrats didn’t cheer — they whined.

While Trump showed Reagan-level steel, surgically wiping out Iran’s nuclear backbone, Democrats clutched their pearls and rushed to defend “restraint” against the same regime that arms Hezbollah, funds Hamas and cheers on terrorist supporters.

Let’s be blunt: The Democratic Party isn’t just soft on terror — it’s functionally aligned with it.

The extreme left wing, including Ocasio-Cortez and her supported candidates, are becoming the cheerleaders for terrorists everywhere.

If Democrats won’t stand with America when it takes out terrorist infrastructure, they don’t deserve power. This isn’t foreign policy — it’s moral clarity.

All the silly, irrelevant and hypocritical reasons the desperate Democrats are coming up with to deny Trump’s victory over Iran’s nuclear terrorism don’t matter.

Suddenly, all these hypocrites are Constitution-loving patriots.

When former President Barack Obama or Joe Biden ordered specific assassinations by our military, none of these phonies voiced a single complaint.

The current Democratic Party is in disarray, confused and lacking any coherent leadership. All the leftists can agree on is a visceral, unhinged hatred of Trump.

It infuriates them that America has a leader ready to strike those who threaten the United States or its allies.

Myron Hecker

Pearl River

AOC said Trump’s Iran strikes are grounds for impeachment.

She and other Dems need to read Article II of the Constitution, which shows that the commander-in-chief has the authority to handle threats to America.

How the hell did AOC and other Dems become members of Congress if they don’t know the Constitution or enforce our laws to protect the US and its citizens?

Robert Neglia

The Bronx

It is simply beyond my comprehension that so many Democratic politicians are attacking Trump for the bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

There can be no rational explanation for this behavior other than insanity or pure political cynicism.

Trump has demonstrated a quality of judgment not seen in our government for many generations.

His actions deserve our profound gratitude and appreciation.
