It was a Boeing belly flop.

A Delta flight made an emergency landing at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina Wednesday despite having not having its nose gear fully extended and hitting the runway on its underside, according to reports.

The Boeing 717 carrying 96 passengers, two pilots and three flight attendants out of Atlanta hit the ground turbulently without its landing gear properly depolyed — but there were no reported injuries.

A video of the ordeal taken by a remarkably calm traveler inside the plane shows nervously silent passengers all holding the seats in front of them and resting their heads against them while bracing for impact.

“That was not bad at all,” the man said after the plane hit the runway and scraped and skidded its way to a halt.

Another passenger, Gary Gibbs, tweeted out his relief and thanks after the scare.

The plane landed roughly but there were no reported injuries.

“So Thankful for God’s protection today,” he wrote. “Kudos to the skilled pilots and crew for their quick response and ensuring the safety of 96 passengers on board.”

Gibbs posted footage of his shellshocked fellow riders quietly walking away from the plane and marveling at the aircraft’s nose-down positioning.

Delta officials said nose gear malfunctions are rare.

“Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people,” the airline said in a statement. “While this is a rare occurrence, Delta flight crews train extensively to safely manage through many scenarios and flight 1092 landed safely without reported injuries.”

Airport officials closed down the runway after the plane’s landing and worked to remove the hobbled aircraft after transporting the shaken passengers to a terminal.
