Deebo Samuel has a warning for Micah Parsons: Be careful what you wish for.
After Parsons warned the 49ers that Dallas would have answers in a potential rematch following Sunday’s 42-10 humiliation, Samuel clapped back at Dallas’ star pass rusher.
“It was already personal before the game started,” Samuel said on “Up & Adams” on Tuesday. “Um, 42-10, I don’t think you want to see us again. It might be a little bit worse.”
The back-and-forth started Sunday night when George Kittle showcased a “F–k Dallas” t-shirt that he wore while scoring three touchdowns in the 32-point beatdown.
Kittle referenced the historic rivalry between the teams in detailing why he wore the edgy shirt, and as well as paying homage to former 49ers linebacker Gary Plummer donning the same shirt during the 1994 NFC Championship game against Dallas.
“There’s some things that need to be worn for the franchise and I think it’s just coincidence it just happened to appear on my chest on ‘Sunday Night Football,’” Kittle said on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Kittle’s antics didn’t sit well with Parsons, who has been eliminated from the postseason by the 49ers in each of his first two seasons.
“Kittle’s my guy, but I’m (going to) say this: laugh now, cry later,” Parsons said on “The Edge with Micah Parsons.”
“We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust. We gonna put it just like that. I ain’t gonna put too much on it. You going to make it personal? We can make it personal.”
Samuel continued the conversation Tuesday by telling Parsons that the nearly five-touchdown undressing could be even bigger in a potential future postseason matchup.
“I don’t know what we trusting,” Samuel said. “It’s laugh now, cry later. I don’t think you want to see us again.”
The 49ers and Cowboys can only see each other again this season in the postseason, and the 49ers have won three straight in the series including the two postseason wins.
