There’s never a dull minute on NBC’s hit reality competition series, Deal or No Deal Island! After last week’s shocking game in the Banker’s Temple (Dr. Will Kirby is a legend for a reason), the contestants surely had to be scrambling. The ultra-powerful “The Family” alliance—made up of Parvati Shallow, David Genat, Dickson Wong, and Maria-Grace Cook—received its first blow when Kirby chose to eliminate Cook after besting the Banker and adding money to the prize pot. While there is no doubt The Family, with players as savvy as Shallow and Genat, will rally, the other players celebrated the victory.
In this exclusive clip from tonight’s all-new episode, Courtney “C.K.” Kim confides in Shallow and Wong after an excursion gone wrong. Scrambling after landing in the bottom, the trio hold a conference in one of the sleeping pods. “So, I’m going to play,” says Kim, confirming that she wants to play the Banker. “I have to explain myself.”
Soon it becomes clear that Kim believes that her ally, Alexis Lete, betrayed her during the excursion by helping Philip Solomon. “None of that even would have happened, but Lete’s like, ‘I made a Philip a promise,'” exclaims Kim. “Are you fucking kidding me?” As Kim continues to spiral, Shallow listens patiently.
“It’s crazy how everything’s played out in there,” says Kim. “Everyone’s lying to everyone so much.” Feeling comfortable with Shallow and Wong, Kim weighs in on one of the most baffling saves of the unseen excursion from tonight’s episode. “David just saved Philip. Philip was in on the whole thing on how to get Maria-Grace out,” reveals Kim to a shocked Shallow. “Seychelle [Cordero] is coming hard for you,” warns Kim.
Like the pro she is, Shallow hides her emotions, allowing Kim to continue to tell her everything. “This bitch wants you fucking out, you and David,” says Kim. “They call you ‘The Family;’ they all want you out.” Shallow just smiles while Wong is unable to mask his shock.
In her confessional, Shallow lets out a big laugh. “I had no clue that there’s this other alliance happening,” Shallow shares as the camera shows a montage of Lete, Kirby, Soloman, and Cordero plotting against her. Back in the sleeping pod, Kim exclaims through tears, “Clearly, I’m no good at this game!”
Back in her confessional, Shallow agrees. “I’ve never seen someone spiral this hard this fast.” Dubbed the “Black Widow” by Survivor fans, Shallow decides to let Kim crawl further into her web. “I’m just going to sit back and watch that hot mess express take itself off a cliff.”
