Lisa Rinna has entered the chat. After a damning report exposed the internal investigation into Days of Our Lives co-executive producer and director Albert Alarr, the actress dished on the “disgusting” environment over at the long-running soap opera.

In a since-deleted Instagram Story, Rinna responded to the allegations of workplace misconduct surrounding Alarr. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star originated the role of Billie Reed on Days in 1992, where she remained until 1995. While she’s come and gone over the years, she most recently reprised her feisty role in the Peacock spinoff Beyond Salem in 2021.

“Well, this took a long time. Let’s see, when’s the last time I went over there and did that week on Peacock?” she wrote on social media, per The Daily Mail. “I couldn’t believe the work environment. It was disgusting, I was shocked. I let many people know, Albert included, and they didn’t do a thing until now, it seems.”

Decider reached out to Rinna’s reps for comment but did not hear back by the time of publication.

A Deadline report revealed earlier this week that Alarr came under investigation by Sony Pictures Television — the distributor of Days — after a female employee complained about a recent round of layoffs in which women were allegedly disproportionately affected. She also claimed there is unequal pay between women and their male counterparts.

Moreover, sources told the outlet that Alarr had a habit of “belittling people” — such as the time a male actor, who had recently had his hair trimmed, quit abruptly after Alarr allegedly screamed at him in front of the entire cast and crew. Others claimed he often made “inappropriate” comments that made “everybody feel uncomfortable” — and said his directing notes are frequently given in the “most vulgar, crass ways.”

There were also allegations of groping, including one source who claimed he kissed a female actress without her consent, leaving her “terrified” to be alone with him.

Following the two-month investigation — in which 30-40 people, primarily women, were interviewed — Corday Productions, the production company behind Days, released a statement saying they were taking a “series of actions designed to ensure a safe and respectful work environment.”

While they did not specify what the actions are, sources told Deadline that Alarr received a written warning and will be forced to undergo training. However, he will remain in his roles as co-EP and director — which is reportedly “sparking outrage” among the cast and crew.
