Dave Portnoy is calling out the NFL for having a crush on Taylor Swift.
The Barstool Sports founder fired off a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) as Swift’s presence at the Chiefs-Jets game in support of Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce stole the “Sunday Night Football” spotlight.
“This is nuts,” Portnoy wrote. “The NFL is simping for Taylor.”
Simp behavior includes — but is not limited to — doing things to impress a crush or being overly responsive to someone, according to Men’s Health, which did a deep dive into being labeled a “simp.”
Portnoy’s post came amid heightened speculation that Swift and Kelce, both 33, are an item.
He also shared a photo of Swift from her suite at MetLife Stadium in a separate post, which featured the pop megastar cheering on the Chiefs with celeb pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, along with Kelce’s mom, Donna, and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.
“Is this real?” Portnoy asked.
Actor Hugh Jackman, singer Sabrina Carpenter and “Game of Thrones” alum Sophie Turner also joined Swift at the game, where the Chiefs defeated the Jets, 23-20.
It marked the second consecutive week that Swift showed up to support Kelce and the Chiefs.
Last week, the “Lavender Haze” singer attended the Chiefs-Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium with Kelce’s friends and family.
The budding love story has continued to dominate headlines and the NFL is certainly soaking up the added attention.
The league changed its cover photo on X from pics of Swift at Arrowhead to the latest snaps of her at MetLife Stadium as of Monday.
The NFL also rolled out a “Sunday Night Football” promo solely dedicated to Swift ahead of the Chiefs-Jets game.
“The @Chiefs are now 2-0 with @TaylorSwift13 in attendance,” the NFL wrote on X, including a video of her at the game.
The league also posted a video of Swift with her arm around Donna as she hugged her in the suite.

Sunday’s broadcast also had a field day with Swift and featured the singer on-air 17 times during the game, according to Front Office Sports.
Kelce has also seen an uptick in his social media following since being linked to Swift.
The Grammy winner’s NFL takeover has been beneficial to the league financially, as Kelce’s jersey sales skyrocketed following her Arrowhead appearance.
Swift, who is a Pennsylvania native, has yet to address the dating rumors.
She and Kelce were pictured getting cozy at a private dinner the Chiefs star reportedly held for friends and family after Kansas City’s Week 3 win over Chicago.
It’s unclear if Swift plans on attending the Chiefs-Vikings game in Minnesota on Oct. 8.
