Daniel Jones came out throwing dimes in what’s been a dazzling Colts debut.

The former Giants quarterback threw for nearly 200 yards and a touchdown — and ran for another score — in the first half of Sunday’s season opener against the Dolphins in Indianapolis.

Jones, who was released by the Giants last November after making 69 starts over six seasons with the team, finished last season as a backup with the Vikings before signing a one-year contract worth $14 million with the Colts in the offseason.

The 28-year-old Jones beat out Anthony Richardson, the Colts’ first-round pick in 2023, for the starting job in training camp.

The former Giants first-rounder completed 17 of his 22 passes for 197 yards in the opening half, including a 27-yard scoring strike to Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. on the first play of the second quarter.

Jones added a 1-yard scoring run to cap a 42-yard drive with 12:01 left.

The Colts also added a field goal on the final play before intermission for a 20-point advantage.

Indianapolis ended the third quarter Sunday with a 23-0 lead.

As for the Giants, they signed veteran quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in the offseason, and added rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft this past April.

The Giants trailed the Commanders in the third quarter Sunday, 14-3.
