Dan Orlovsky does not think there are big odds of Tom Brady playing for the Raiders next season.
Brady appeared on the “DeepCuts” podcast with barber VicBlends earlier this month, and teased the possibility of an NFL comeback, albeit with the parameters that a starting quarterback goes down with an injury.
“I’m not opposed to it,” Brady, 46, said about a possible comeback, with a smile on his face.
On ESPN’s “Get Up” on Monday, Mike Greenberg led an “Overreaction Monday” segment with Orlovsky, NFL reporter Dan Graziano and former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum, with the question as to whether Brady would return to the Raiders this upcoming season.
“I don’t know if they grow back, but if Brady plays for the Raiders this year I’ll shave my eyebrows,” Orlovsky said, adding the caveat that he’ll only do it provided that “they grow back.”
Earlier in the segment, Graziano also thought Brady wouldn’t come back, but wasn’t quite as sure as Orlovsky.
“If he wanted to play, this is the team that makes the most sense,” Graziano said.
“The reason I don’t think it will happen, is Tom Brady is so about preparation and routine. To jump in this late in the process or during the season is unlikely, but boy would it be fun.”

Tannenbaum thought that Brady would be “really intrigued” by a situation with star wideout Davante Adams and newly drafted tight end Brock Bowers.
The current starting quarterback for the Raiders appears to be Aidan O’Connell, who started 10 games for the team as a rookie last season, with veteran Gardner Minshew as backup.
Brady is in the process of seeking to acquire a minority stake in the Raiders.

If this is approved by the other NFL owners, Brady would have to divest from the stake in the team if he were to return to play football.
Brady is currently slated to join Kevin Burkhardt on the top Fox Sports NFL announce team for this upcoming season.
