NFL player Damar Hamlin sent LeBron James’ son Bronny prayers after the 18-year-old athlete suffered cardiac arrest Monday during a basketball workout at USC.

“Prayers to Bronny & The James family as well. ???????? here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process,” Hamlin tweeted Tuesday morning, alluding to his own experience with cardiac arrest six months ago.

The Buffalo Bills safety collapsed on the football field after he suffered a blow to his chest at a specific point in his heartbeat, which caused the arrest.

Hamlin, 25, was released from the hospital more than 10 days after being rushed to the level-1 trauma center.

Bronny, 18, however, remains hospitalized, though a rep for the James family confirmed to Page Six that he’s no longer being treated in the intensive care unit.

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU,” the rep’s statement began.

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family, and we will update media when there is more information.”

According to the American Heart Association, cardiac arrest occurs when the heart “malfunctions and stops beating unexpectedly.” This differs from a heart attack, which happens when blood flow to the organ is blocked.

It’s unclear how the health scare will affect his future basketball career.

Sources told TMZ Sports, which was first to report the news, that someone called 911 from the USC’s Galen Center, the location of the Trojans’ practices and games.

The patient, who was later confirmed to be Bronny, was rushed to the hospital with full lights and sirens because he was a Code-3 emergency.

Bronny was expected to follow in his famed father’s footsteps into the NBA, but it’s unclear how this cardiac arrest will affect his ability to play.
