The knockout round of the 2024 Copa America is nearly over with just one match left to determine how the semifinal bracket will look. Uruguay will take on Brazil in tonight’s tilt.
Uruguay enters the match still undefeated after going 3-0 in the group stage, while Brazil’s 1-2-0 record in the group stage was enough to get them through to the quarterfinal round. Brazil will play tonight’s match without star Vinicius Junior, who was suspended for one game after receiving two yellow cards in Brazil’s last match against Colombia.
As the stage name implies, the winners here will continue on to next week’s semifinals while the losing team will be eliminated from the tournament; this means there will be no more draws and tied games will continue into a penalty kick shootout to determine a winner.
The winner of tonight’s match will play the victor of the Colombia vs. Panama match that begins at 6:00 p.m. on FS1.
Tonight’s game airs on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), but Sling TV and DIRECTV Stream will carry the game at a discount or free entirely for new subscribers who want to tune in to watch Uruguay and Brazil in the knockouts.
Uruguay and Brazil play each other tonight, July 6, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Uruguay vs. Brazil is airing on FS1, so if you haven’t cut the cord yet, just flip the channel over to FOX at 9:00 p.m. tonight or log into the Fox Sports app with your cable credentials.
There’s still more than five days of Copa America left, but if you want to watch some of it for free, DIRECTV Stream offers a five-day free trial for new subscribers. When the trial is over, you’ll pay $79.99/month for over 90 live channels.
If you’re planning on watching more than one match in the quarterfinals, then the most cost-effective way to stream the entire 2024 Copa America is without using a free trial.
Sling TV’s Blue plan includes FS1; right now, you can get your first month for 50% off. Instead of $45, you’ll pay $22.50 — and all you’ll need is one month of Sling to watch the entire tournament through the July 14 final match.
Tonight’s Uruguay vs. Brazil match is at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
